Where marina staff review incoming moorage requests and move them through to confirmed or reserved bookings.

1. What is Requests?

When a boater submits a stay request, it lands in this module. You can see every pending, waitlisted, confirmed, and declined request in one list. From here you confirm, waitlist, decline, or reserve each request, request payment, and add internal notes before the booking moves into the live Bookings log.

2. How to Access It

  1. Log in to your marina's Metarina account.
  2. In the left navigation, expand Reservations.
  3. Select Requests.
  4. The list opens on the All tab by default.

3. Key Screens and Layout

5. Statuses and What They Mean

Status / Badge Meaning What you should do next
pending (yellow badge) The request has been received and is waiting for staff to review it. Open the request and confirm, waitlist, or decline it.
Waitlisted (yellow badge) The request is on the waiting list, usually because no berth is available. Monitor availability and confirm the request when a berth opens up.
confirmed (green badge) The request has been confirmed by staff but payment has not yet been received or the booking has not been reserved. Request payment or move the booking to reserved when ready.
reserved (green badge) The booking has been fully reserved. It will appear in the Bookings module rather than the Requests list. No further action needed in Requests; track the booking in Bookings.
declined (red badge) The request has been declined. Reactivate the request if the decline was made in error.
cancelled (red badge) The booking was cancelled after being accepted. You may occasionally see this badge on a row in the All tab, but clicking into it takes you to the Bookings module instead of a Requests detail page, cancelled bookings are managed there. Review whether any charges or refunds need to be processed, from the Bookings module.
Renewed (orange badge) The renewal outcome has been marked as successfully renewed. This field isn't restricted to reserved bookings, so you may occasionally see it on a pending, waitlisted, confirmed, or declined request too (most often from imported data), even though renewal follow-up is really a long-stay concept. No action required unless follow-up is needed.
Closed (gray badge) The renewal follow-up has been marked as closed without renewing. Same note as above, this can appear on a request that hasn't reached reserved yet. No action required unless the boater contacts you again.
Pending for approval (amenity badge) A service the boater requested has not yet been accepted or rejected by staff. Open the Requested Utilities & Services panel and accept or reject the amenity.
Accepted (amenity badge) A requested service has been accepted by staff. Add a charge for the amenity if appropriate.
Rejected (amenity badge) A requested service has been declined by staff. No further action needed unless the boater contacts you to discuss alternatives.
Docked (boat badge) The boat is currently docked at the marina. No action needed.
Away (boat badge) The boat is currently away from the marina. Note this when reviewing the request if the boat's return timing is relevant to the stay.
