The module marina managers use to see how much revenue has been collected, where it's coming from, and which invoices are overdue.
Revenue Analytics is the Revenue view inside Metarina's unified Analytics dashboard. It gives you a set of revenue and payment charts covering monthly and weekly totals, per-customer revenue, overdue invoices, payment method mix, and average spend, all powered by an embedded Superset dashboard rather than a dedicated Metarina page.
| Screen / Area | What you use it for | Typical daily tasks |
|---|---|---|
| Analytics tab | The unified analytics dashboard reached from Dashboard. Contains five sub-tabs, only Revenue covers billing. | Switch between Revenue and the other analytics areas from one place. |
| Monthly Total Revenue (Marina Level) chart | See total revenue collected by month across the whole marina. | Spot seasonal revenue peaks, such as a summer high season. |
| Weekly Total Customer Revenue chart | See weekly revenue broken down by payment method (Bank Transfer, Card, Cash, and similar). | Check which payment methods are driving revenue in a given week. |
| Total Revenue Earned per Customer table | A searchable, paginated table of every boat and customer with their total revenue and transaction count. | Look up a specific customer's lifetime revenue and click View for details. |
| Overdue Invoices table | A searchable table of customers with overdue invoices, showing how many days late and the amount owed. | Follow up with customers who are furthest behind on payment. |
| Most Used Payment Method chart | A donut chart showing the share of transactions by payment method. | See whether boaters mostly pay by card, cash, or bank transfer. |
| Average Transaction Size: Online vs. In-Person chart | A trend line comparing average payment size across online and in-person payment methods over time. | Check whether online payments trend larger or smaller than in-person ones. |
| Average Monthly Spend (Customer Level) chart | See the average amount spent per customer, by month. | Track whether average customer spend is rising or falling. |
| Average Customer Spend by Category chart | A donut chart splitting average spend across Service, Berth, and Utility charges. | See whether revenue is mostly coming from berth fees, services, or utilities. |
| Feature | What it does |
|---|---|
| Revenue tab | Opens the billing/revenue set of charts within the unified Analytics dashboard. |
| Boats / Boat Documents / Customers / Customer Documents tabs | The other four sub-tabs in the same Analytics dashboard, covering non-billing marina data. |
| Search (on tables) | Filters the Total Revenue Earned per Customer or Overdue Invoices tables by typing a name or value. |
| Show entries dropdown | Controls how many rows display at once in a table widget (e.g. 10 entries). |
| Pagination | Moves between pages of results in a table widget, or between chart pages on multi-page donut charts. |
| All / Inv toggle | Seen on the Most Used Payment Method and Average Customer Spend by Category charts. All shows real data. Inv currently just clears the chart to gray with no values. |
| View (table row action) | Opens the underlying customer, boat, or invoice record from a table row. |
| Chart legend | Click a legend entry (such as a payment method) to show or hide that series on the chart. |
This dashboard doesn't use marina-style status badges, it's a set of charts and tables. The closest things to a "status" are:
| Field | Meaning | What you should do next |
|---|---|---|
| Days Late (Overdue Invoices) | How many days past due an unpaid invoice is for that customer. | Follow up with the customer, prioritising the highest day counts. |
| All (toggle) | The chart is showing every transaction, invoiced or not. | Use this for the full picture. |
| Inv (toggle) | The chart currently displays no values. | No action needed. |
